da cassino online: West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta appears determined to make his move back to boyhood club Flamengo, with a new report shedding light on behind-the-scenes talks involving Karren Brady and Nuno Espírito Santo.

Lucas Paqueta determined to leave West Ham in January

da brwin: Paquetá’s push for a January exit from West Ham has escalated dramatically, with the club turning down a fresh approach from Flamengo in the last 24 hours.

The Brazilian outfit tabled their second official proposal on Thursday night, believed to be in the region of £36 million when accounting for both guaranteed payments and bonuses.

West Ham owner David Sullivan, however, wasted little time in dismissing the approach, with insiders suggesting the offer remains considerably below the club’s expectations for their most expensive acquisition.

Paquetá has already shaken hands on a long-term deal with the Rio de Janeiro club that would keep him at the Maracanã until 2030.

The Brazil international has turned his back on several domestic suitors from England’s top flight, reportedly including Tottenham — making it abundantly clear that only a move back to his homeland interests him this winter.

Speaking publicly about the pursuit, Flamengo’s director of football, José Boto, acknowledged that bridging the financial gap represents the primary challenge.

He confirmed both parties remain eager to make the switch happen but stressed that dealing with the Hammers requires careful negotiation and time.

An unconventional solution being floated about would see Flamengo complete the purchase now before sending Paquetá straight back to east London on loan until March or even May, should West Ham’s survival fight extend that far.

Such an arrangement could offer both clubs a workable compromise.

The 28-year-old has been absent from matchday squads since the Forest defeat earlier this month, sitting out back-to-back wins against QPR and Spurs.

With representatives from both sides working around the clock, a resolution looks increasingly inevitable before February’s deadline, especially given Paqueta is determined to leave.

What Lucas Paqueta has told Karren Brady in tense West Ham talks

According to TEAMtalk and journalist Graeme Bailey today, both Brady and Nuno held ‘face-to-face’ talks with Paqueta in what has been described as an increasingly tense situation.

The transfer saga has created internal friction at the London Stadium.

Senior figures, including chief executive Brady and Nuno, sat down with Paquetá earlier in the week, urging him to see out the campaign as the club battles relegation.

The midfielder, blunt in his response, apparently refused to budge from his position, insisting he wants to leave immediately.

Despite West Ham rejecting Flamengo’s second offer for Paqueta, they are still pushing to sign their ex-hero via intermediaries.

We may not even see the end of this ongoing pursuit until March, with the Brazilian transfer window not due to close until that month — giving Flamengo plenty of time to discuss a deal with West Ham.

This is a very unwelcome distraction for the Hammers, who are currently five points adrift from safety in a precarious relegation battle that could see them drop to the Championship for the first time in years.

It is best for all parties that this matter is resolved quickly, and Nuno will be given real encouragement by the fact West Ham have secured back-to-back wins without Paqueta anywhere near the team.

It is quite the fall from grace for West Ham’s club-record signing, right after the Londoners stood by him through thick and thin amid his spot-fixing allegations.
