da bet vitoria: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hailed Roberto Firmino, stating that the Brazilian forward has the attributes to be a real success at Anfield.

da dobrowin: The versatile attacker moved to Merseyside from Hoffenheim in a considerable deal over the summer, but initially struggled to make an impact for his new employers.

However, Firmino put in an impressive showing in the Reds’ recent 4-1 victory over Manchester City, with his partnership with compatriot Philippe Coutinho a standout factor in the victory.

Klopp has stated that he has always admired Firmino from their mutual time in Germany and feels the forward can have a telling influence on the Merseyside outfit’s fortunes.

“Roberto came from a club in Germany in Hoffenheim and it is a small one – very good players – and he was playing under not the biggest pressure,” The Telegraph report the German as saying.

“Then he made a transfer to a big club like Liverpool with all the things together – with the pressure, the public, the media.

“I did not know him as a person before I came here but I knew him and liked him as a player and he is still not 100 per cent to where he can go – not even close yet.

“He is a big physical talent, really strong, it is not easy to get the ball from him. He is fast in a special way and very, very good in shooting, something we have not seen here until now. So still there is a lot to come and it is a good situation for the club.”

Just what position Firmino is best suited in remains to be seen at Anfield, with the South American able to play as a centre forward or an attacking midfielder.
